girl date!

it’s been a while since iv had a one-on-one date with @canthandlefakename and i really enjoyed it. she helped me pick out decorative items for my room and we finished my other errands. plus i dug around her shopping bag of new work clothes. we also went lusting for… furniture. haha!

then we had a nice relaxing dinner at a good old coffeeshop.

the best thing about it is that we never seemed to run out of stories to tell! from shopping til eating, we were always talking. :))

love, career, chismis, life, dreams, clothes….

now that’s friendship! :)

THIS is how proposals should be- well prepared, creative, sincere, and done with la-la-love. :)

So friggin sweet! <3

it’s 5:25 am.

wait, what am i doing still up?

ok, good night.

@_@

it’s official.

ladies and gentlemen, it’s official. my laptop has a name.

NEEDLE.

just like Arya Stark’s sword in Game of Thrones.

because Needle (in GOT) is castle-forged Valyrian steel, small and light-weight, yet still very sharp and deadly.

just like my Needle (Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook). it’s of good quality, small and light-weight, but still effective for both work and creative purposes.

okay… because it’s also silver and shiny. haha!

as of today i’ve already recorded and edited audio, edited photos, created simple videos, and of course, typed a myriad of things on it.

Needle.

stick ‘em with the pointy end!

haha!

independence.

i am blessed to have lots of great friends and family but sometimes there are things that are more fun when done alone.

even if you thrive in being with familiar people who love you, you should also know how to genuinely have fun on your own.

it’s about making your own decisions. deciding where to go to next. enjoying your own company. opening yourself up to new things.

every now and then a “phone a friend” is helpful but the decision is always up to you.

eating your lunch alone? it’s possible.

want to help three tourists (strangers) take a group photo of themselves? go.

you want to do things today instead of waiting for next month or next week? go!

answer only to yourself.

you are the boss of your life.

act like it.

…all this i learned from buying an airconditioning unit and an office chair. :)) hahaha. i feel so empowered tonight. haha
